| Dreams are a place where all the things your hindbrain has been noticing since you last slept get shown to your sleepy frontbrain. Sure, your unconscious usually doesn't have the hangups your conscious mind does, so it can make associations and recognize patterns and stuff better, but that doesn't mean it's right. Usually it does mean you're at least having notable feelings about the subject of your dream though.
