My friend has a concussion
| I don't think that is how concussions work. It is generally just a bruise in the brain and the damage is already done. You generally don't get worse over time. After a concussion they usually do a checkup to see how bad it is and if there is any loss of function/alterations and monitor them in case if brain bleeds. Because a brain bleed will fuck your shit up big time. Though concussions the damage is already done.

| As someone who's had multiple concussions, she may have a minor personality change, and may have a hard time with some tasks that were easy before.
I used to be able to solve differential equations in my head without much issue or delay. I lost that.
I also guess I had a personality shift. Went from being passionate about biomedical engineering to joining the military and loving being in combat.
