Don't hype yourself up too much after turning 18 and finishing highschool

Feel like this is solid advice, it's something I wish I could've said to myself at least.
Being +18 might be when you legally are your own and can go do anything, live anywhere and fuck anyone you want. However if you yourself haven't set things up because you're a lazy, shy, poor, etc. kid it ain't happening until you do.
So take it from me, don't just wait for a number to tick over to do the things you wanted to do. Go out and take any chance you can get to live your life

I get what you mean OP, but in my case, I'm finally gonna be free. My childhood was full of screams, so I'm not gonna miss that. I'm glad I'll finally be at peace.

>>809720 Alright glad to hear it g/u/rl. Hope you get some peace and quiet
Guess I should give this a happy note as I ain't all gloom and doom. Better days are always ahead just by the virtue of being alive. No matter how low we go it always can start looking up for us, so that's what keeps me on this wild ride of a life
I see myself stuck for another year but I still have my friends abroad, knew them for years and now I'm willing to take them up on the offer and live with them

Always think about what you want to do~ Only you know your full potential~ Just make sure you always work diligently towards that potential~ Nothing will happen if you just sit around and wait, grab that dream, and make it yours~
Or you can run off and join the military. That's an option too~

I didn't hype myself up and I'm still disappointed. I don't have any means of going anywhere. I don't have spare money. I don't have income. I've been stagnating for years. I am going to die, and it will be my own fault.

Tbh i also thought i will be "free". But the thing is that u never be free from depression and trauma and doing everything yourself is really hard. Freedom sounds cool for all the things you want to do but you also need to do a lot you have to do

Becoming an adult is just fucking disappointing and a lot of people lose their spark and become comfortable. Also its fucking hard to get friends because everyone stays in their comfort zone because now they are allowed to do that

But i dont want to make this negative. As OP said, do the stuff you want to do. You're not forced to go anywhere anymore and nothing will happen unless you take action. That is harder than it sounds
