Personally I hate it. I have massive anxiety issues that are most often triggered by some looming vague threats or potential problems in the future (same as most people with anxiety, I believe). How do you g/u/rls deal with something like that? What are some steps I can take to alleviate this at least somewhat, and learn to accept that I can't know and control absolutely everything that happens in the future?

I try to make plans, have some expectations of what will happen in x amount of time and plan for it. Usually 2 or 3 variants I can jump between depending on if anything changes is enough to not feel too much stressed out.

I'm not sure how exactly I came to terms with that, but I just kinda did. I realised that I can't have full control of the future, but no matter what happens I have the ability to make the best out of it. Idk if the things out of my control will be good or bad, but I can make plans and partially influence things around me, so I'll just do what I can and deal with whatever I might have to deal with when the time comes. Why worry about something when I don't know what to worry about?
