sorry OP. If you ever decide to fuck with crypto again, i suggest not bitcoin... or any memecoin for that matter. ETH's a bit more within the scope of normal people.

tl;dr I got scammed by an exchange I had never used before trying to get a crypto I had never used before. I'm sad partially because of the lost money, but mainly because I feel like an idiot.

| I'm about to cry. A while back I participated in a research study because they said I'd get $40.
After weeks of delay, I got my e-code. I was in class and I was so happy I got the money.
When I got home, I decided to exchange it for crypto so I could buy a month of prio queue on 2b2t, but I instead spent 6 hours really late at night browsing for exchanges.
Eventually I found one & got $20 of BTC, not enough for prio, but enough to upgrade my raidforums acc.
