My brain go bzzzzt

| Any other g/u/rls heads filled with static?

Sometimes i forget to breath and am staring at a wall for a while before i remember.

| Алина?

| No. My brain just works overtime until I collapse and then does it again.

| No, I have jingles and songs playing in my head almost 24/7. Static sounds kinda nice tbh.

Currently "listening" to Metallica - One

AFAIK it's not uncommon for people with ADHD

| I always felt like my brain was just full of static, no real thoughts or thinking goes on in there. I even have a hard time making images in my head and thats why I always hated reading but never listening to audio books.

| >>762745 well fuck

| My brain is an endless podcast that never stop talking, only way I can fall asleep is if I can trick it into talking nonsense and somehow it'll translate to a dream and then I'll fall asleep.

That sounds awful.

Sounds like you have Aphantasia. Maybe get it checked out?

| >>763073
There's no need to get Aphantasia checked out. It's relatively common and in general doesn't cause problems in your everyday life. It is estimated that as many as 20% of the population could have Aphanstasia.

I feel you. The more tired I am the harder it is to ignore. ADHD-medicine helps by quieting those thoughts, at least for me, but it comes with the costs of some obnoxious side-effects.

I've had the same thing kind of. I mostly beat it by forcing myself to pause thinking. I've has an experience where I basically strangled a scurrying nonsense-voice with placid thoughtlessness. It panicked and squeaked my voice at me before it drowned in silence. Felt gud

It may be common, but there is a lack of scientific literature on the subject. The more people volunteer for the study of the condition, the better it can eventually be treated.

>but there is a lack of scientific literature on the subject.

Pretty sure it's scientifically established, actually. The effects of ADHD has been catalogued extensively and this trait is one of the most common ones.

Never mind. I thought you responded to a different post. Hence my response in >>763398
