Forgetting your friends

| This has been happening a bit more often than I like. I'm reminiscing about some of my old friends and I can clearly remember what they were like and the things we did together, but when I try to remember their name, I'm pulling a total blank.

It just, it sucks. It makes me feel awful. And because I don't know their name, I can't really look up online to see what they're up to.

Sorry, I just want to vent a bit. I feel like an awful friend.

| I'm the same way. I dont think that makes you a bad friend. A lot of people move on and grow up. Theres tons of people I used to hang out with and talk to but i can only vaguely remember them. I'm really glad to have known them though because I had a lot of fun with them. As long as you appreciate that time you had, theres nothing wrong with moving on.

| Nah some people just have badbrains and are bad with names

| Sounds like you had too many friends. Wouldn't have been hard if they were just 1-2 people.

| I've honestly always had a hard time remembering things, addressea numbers, and even my friend's name and birthday. But it's always been to a degree where it happens more than usual? I've had to ask my friend what his name was multiple times this year even though we practically see each other every week or so. It's kinda humiliating that i have to write notes and set up alarms just to remember my basic schedule and people I'm supposed to meet that day.
