| You're overthinking this op. 21 and 18 is fine and in a couple of years the gap is basically negligible. If you see and treat each other as equal then it's no problem at all.
| What it boils down to isn't the specific age gap or numbers of any kind, it's about maturity and life experience. If you genuinely think you two are on the same page in that regard, go for it. But if you feel like there's important things she doesn't get yet, it might be worth reconsidering.
That being said, you questioning whether this is "taking advantage" and feeling unsure about it is a good sign that you're not doing anything scummy.

My parents told me it was weird, my sister said it was weird, real supportive family lol. But I never pushed anything on her, we kissed once or twice, but that was honestly it? If anything I got her out of an abusive relationship she kept going back to and blah blah. Point being, as long as you aren't being slimy, it's fine OP :)

Canada. Age differences aren't taboo here, and there is a law in place that made the relationship fine (Romeo and Juliet law, something like that, look that up OP if you're still uncomfortable). But ye my close family didn't like it.

i'll get straight to the point. i'm 20 years old, born 2000, and in a few months, I'll be turning 21.
the girl i'm dating now is born 2003, she's 17 now, and in a few months, will turn 18.
am i too old? am i taking advantage? i've told her about this a bunch of times and sometimes she would get a little upset, asking me if i don't see her mature enough for her age.
i love her, that's for sure, but am I doing something wrong?
