I draw every day

| since april 21st of 2020, but I've got no place to show my drawings, therefore I just send them to the same 3-4 my friends all the time, lol. I could've opened an art accout or smth on social media, even though it would've gotten like 20 subs at first, but I won't do it yet. So I guess I'll keep sending drawings to my friends for now

| it's not that I'm scared of showing them to the world or that I'll get not enough subs or smth, I just kinda don't want to scan all those paper (yeah I draw on paper mostly, since digital art is too long and weighty for me) and support the art page

| and there's been A LOT of papers since 21 april, lol. Some amount of digital art too

| I also have weird settings on my scanner, the colour come out too dim and shitty, using the image editors don't fix this problem completely, and I couldn't re-ajust the settings, so yeah, shitty scanned colours it is for me for now then

| Though I believe some (quite a lot, actually) of my works will find their viewer and some amount of ppl will like what and how I draw

| But I guess I won't open the page just yet tho. Feel okay by myself, even though I want to share my works with the world

| Don't really expect any response on this ranting btw, Just wanted someone (no matter who) to... ugh, just know about it, I guess?.. so, er, thanks

| Hi draw every day, i'm dad

| Hey I get you, I made a twitter account to post them, you should do the same, it wont blow up or anything but sometimes you get some likes

| Just post your shit already. I love art! Just show me!

| Me too. I draw every day if I am able to count cumming all over my body everyday as a form of drawing.

| I remember having to scan everything back when I was doing traditional art.
Definitely is a pain lol

| >>745606 not drawing but definitely artistic

| post it on newgrounds maybe

| >>745501
just snap a quick picture of it under the light, no need to scan it if you just wanna throw them out there

| Hey oh, all the way!
We draw everyday!

| How do you draw every day? I find myself to lack discipline, especially since I still suck. I mean, I know I suck specifically because I don't draw every day, but most of the time I just can't bring myself to power through it.

| >>745734
nah, it's gonna be shitty or not pleasant enough

| >>745915 honestly, I got lucky. I've had an art block for about 2 years, then, during the quarantine, I got stuck alone in a village house, and found an old drawing book, which I tried to read 10 years ago but was too little for it. Suddenly it became really interesting for me, and I started doing the exercises. I've seen the progress, and there was no reason for me not to do these exercises every day, consideriing I've had free time

| In about a month I've looked back and figured that I didn't miss a day, so I thought: "Eh, I've been doing pretty alright so far, why don't I just continue drawing every day?"

| So, it took me luck to get to this shedule, now drawing every day is really kind of a discipline for me. When I get a cool idea, I sit down and draw it for as much time as I need to finish the picture, but if I don't have anything particular in mind, I just start drawing a random character, then add some basic background or effects. This method can get me a picture in about 15 minutes and doesn't take much effort

| So, simply, I've been doing this for far too long in a row, that's why I don't want to miss a single day. Even if I don't want to draw, drawing SOMETHING is better than not drawing at all. And often I get decent (albeit simple) pictures even without proper inspiration

| So, ugh, I don't really believe drawing every day IS THE ONLY WAY U CAN GIT GUT, it just how it happened for me. Honestly, drawing less often but with more care can get you more skilled in a less amount of time, than randomly drawing every day.

| >>745915 I don't think I've got a right to advise you, BUT, probably, joining a class might be your solution, if you've got enough money and time. Going to a class 1-2 times a week requires less discipline, than learning on your own, and you'll definitely improve, as the teachers consult you on your work and show you different techniques. You also may trying reading a book or two with exercises, maybe it'll be useful. And, well, good luck to you!

| yeah sorry about all this ranting again lol

| also not hating your art even if it sucks can save a bunch of nerves. bad picture is better than a white sheet.

| go big shoot low aim wide

| C'mon op, share your drawings with us, I'm really interested in seen your progress!
