Favorite demons?

| What are your favorite demons? Preferably ones with names and descriptions like those in the ars goetia, but demons from other lores would work too. I wanna draw them

| I can't decide between the 4 succ queens but somehow always thought Naamah was cool

| >>744930 I'm not too experienced outside of the ars goetia, what are the Succubus queens? Naamah's wikipedia page doesn't say she's a Succubus though I'll admit thats not a very deep dive on my end

| Zashiki-warashi are a classic, if yokai count.

Seeing as OP doesn't count Naamah i doubt that'd count either

I don't think OP didn't count her. I think it's just that she doesn't know a lot about her.

The biggest problem i've always had with demons is that you never really know what they're like even when/after you summon them.

| >>744942 I don't know much about yokai but they are super interesting to me

| >>744947 true, you can sometimes get an idea based on what others have written though. Really most seem to be ok to me, just fed up with authority like me so we vibe

Ooh! Yay!
I would love seeing a good Zashiki-warashi drawing. They're kinda creepy, but weirdly wholesome. I honestly wouldn't mind running into one.

| Not sure if this fits your definition of demons, but Aztec mythology has a female demon/deity called Tzitzimitl, often depicted as skeletal with skirts of skulls. They're associated with stars and is said to attack the sun and cause solar eclipse.

| I absolutely love Camio from the Ars Goetia, there's something really distinct about their personality from the drawings of them; also a bird with a bandolier and two sabres is just cool as a visual motif

| I'll try to get on doodling some of these later, I just got rly busy so it might be a sec
Also I'm not an amazing artist yet so plz no bully lol

Aztec mythology has some really dope deities. You already picked the best one but Camazotz (the death bat) looks pretty cool too.

Ancient Mesopotamia has some interesting demons considering they're so old you can see traits of them in every other religion from the surrounding area. Like the bloodsucking Lamashtu or the evil side of Anu. In one religion Anu got his balls bitten off before getting thrown into the underworld.
