It just sank to me how dangerous this is. How and when do you think I'll die /u/? Can I recover from the damage caused by frequent 48 hours up time?

Honestly if you're doing it all the time your body is likely pretty used to it, however a more traditional sleep schedule would be beneficial, especially in the long run.
Gonna assume you're fairly young like I was when I pulled shit like that. You won't be able to keep it up forever.
My advice is get yourself into a sustainable routine now and you'll feel less fatigue in the long run.
Start reducing your "up time" by an hour every night or two, and try to keep consistent.

You'll eventually run into a wall where your body will say NO and then you'll sweve into oncoming traffic.
Stop doing them now before they become habit forming.
