the problem with asking for gifts is when you reach the point where you have a liquid income, and could buy most things, you start wishing for things that are either beyond money, or out of your liquid income.
i guess i could ask for a career, but i cant buy that. nor can i buy love. or mental/emotional stability.
I guess thats why I prefer giving gifts these days instead of asking for them. There's a lot of people out there who are less fortunate than I am- and who could definitely better use the money. If I can't make myself happy with money, at least I can be happy for a little while, making others happy.
