Client is 50 and physically/learning disabled. Couldn't pay bills with $780/mo disability benefits. Went to a predatory lender and took out loan with 125% interest rate. Illiterate and couldn't read loan terms. Bastards let him sign anyway.
Could only afford one payment. Stopped paying and lender sued for 3x the principal. He cried as I interviewed him - he thought he'd go to jail.
This is unconscionable. Name and shame loansharks. Give the disabled a benefit to live on.
