Why can't I cry in front of other people?

| I can't cry at all. The most I've "cried" the last few years of my life has been, like, 3 tears. I don't know why. I often want to, but even alone it just, like, doesn't happen.

| my friend says something similar. he wants to cry but cant. hes not physically unable to, but for all the shit hes dealt with in life i think he can count how many times hes cried on one hand.

| Idk why but my body is just unable to let tears run down my face when I'm in with other people that are crying. I don't have time to go to a therapist so help me a little to figure out why does it happens?
