Is there a way to cast my phone screen to my laptop without having to download anything on my phone? My phone broke recently and the display won't turn on, although it still works. You just can't see anything.

For android you need developer access (not rooted) and some USB setting allowed, so it would be hard to turn on settings blind. Instructions are on scrcpy. It pushes a little Java app that copies screen out over USB. Works great.

If you can't do the settings, maybe try rooting it. Depending on type of phone, maybe can be done one way from comp, not sure.
