Anybody have any experience with tinnitus to share? I've had mine since I was a kid thinking it was normal but a few days ago it became super noticeable. Seeing my doc tomorrow but I'm kinda scared by the thought of having to live with a permanent flashbang/"EEEEEEEEEEEEEE" going off in my brain. Any of you g/u/rls dealt with tinnitus before? How did you overcome it?

you can't. it's permanent and untreatable in most cases.

Just ignored it, and accepted that it kinda fluctuates. It's worse if you arw idle and not keeping yourself occupied.

Also think I've had it since when I was a kid, and initially thought everybody did until I was told otherwise. I just make sure there's some kind of white noise on when I'm sleeping, that way it doesn't bother me.

Yeah the only "treatment" they can give you is therapy to train you to ignore it or something, personally I keep a fan or something else on all the time and actively avoid thinking about it since if you focus on it it's worse

Have you been eating a lot of iron? I find iron exacerbates tinnitus.
