| Try asking the doctor first if crying will worsen the post-op eye. If yes, then give the eye time to heal first. If not, then that's good so you can break the news to her. Still, that's some bad timing right there.

| So my father told me that my uncle from my mother's side committed suicide, he doesn't want to tell my mom about it because she recently had an operation on her eye and doesn't want her to stress out that eye. What should I do?
