I want to ask about "bonding" with this hairy potato. I keep finding that you should go slow and respect their space. But irl I find that most people just grab them and force them to get used to their pressence. Any thoughts? Broken english 'cause I speak patata.

>>490168 um, we had guinea pigs in grade school. They were grumpy and bit me sometimes, but I'm sure if you are>10 years old it will be fine :). I'm sure YouTube has all the videos... and, well, if it doesn't, then you should make some.
I'm also curious to learn about the patata language... is it similar to papas?

I had ginuea pigs a few years ago that were pretty chill. I would get a towel and just stick them in my lap or on my shoulder with some food and let them hang out while I played games or watched TV. I wasn't forceful in handling them or grabbing them and it seemed good.
