hp v kW
| European here, for whatever reason hp is used for cars, but for bikes kW is used. In fact I don't think anything else other than cars' engines are measured in hp. It's just as stupid as measuring screens in inches, yes we do that too for absolutely 0 reasons.

| I'm told most folks outside the US use kilowatts to measure engine power, yet my acquaintances from South America contradict this. Is this really so or is it just mostly just Europe & Australia in the kilowatt camp?
Where do you g/u/rls live & which do you use there?
