if you're both on burner discord accounts, you exchange a few messages, you're not interested. you stop responding, why would you keep them in your friends list? do people just not bother to unfriend?

>>1118033 i get that if you're on your real accounts but these are just burners so i don't see why you would feel bad for unfriending a random person after only interacting for 2 messages

First you unfriend someone on discord and then you murder innocent children unfortunately.

Just be honest if you were somewhat close at all. If not, just unfriend, you were acquainted for a short period but it fell through and you stopped talking because of noninterest theres no need to apologize over that or explain yourself if you just happened on each other once talked for 5 mins and then ghost each other for a week

>>1118040 we don't know each other at all, this was the first interaction. i'm just confused about ghosting but not unfriending, why would you keep want to keep seeing me in the friends list, basically a random stranger on your burner account

>>1118044 Maybe hes just keeping open the possibility of talking to you in the future, and you're being paranoid
Maybe he likes you, but doesn't know how to connect with you
Maybe he's not ready to connect, is affraid... Who knows, theres many reasons.

I unfriend people a lot, maybe way too much.
I just talk to the person usually and ask them if they also think we're not vibing, to eventually bring the conversation into "hey maybe we should unfriend each other"
You can unfriend the person afterwards even if they respond with just "dont worry about it" Its a you thing, and you tried to talk about it.
In the past I used to just unfriend without warning, but thats mean.

>>1118047 i was also considering this. probably busy and unsure, but also doesn't want to turn me down immediately. i guess if he doesn't respond in a week i'll stop expecting anything
