Regardless, I once heard it has to do with mental development of a certain part of the brain that didn't get to properly develop because the person masked really hard most of their life until the day they transition.

| I really like talking like a kid and a friend said I might be high masking. It wouldn't be part of the brain necessarily, as in a sub-region. Things don't really change after adulthood. But it could be an aspect of the personality I think-seeing that the world of adults isn't for you, and so not internalizing that identity. Of course there are physical storage of these in the brain, but it would just be certain cells activating more or less, not a chunk of flesh doing something
