danger/u/
robot girl who likes to touch grass

| i went camping with work and got paid a whole lot to look after a bunch of fellow autistics to hike and sleep outside and do campfire stuff and it was very nice !!

i havent camped in more than a decade and it was nice to do it with my rly nice coworkers who like hearing of my gayass polygirl robot antics :3

touch grass and go camping with ur friends its rly nice even if u dont get paid as 50hrs for one weekend of super ez work

| That does sound fun!

It's not super on topic but can I ask how/why you use the robot girl identifier? I've been thinking about it for myself but I'd like to hear some other people who use it's perspective before I claim it myself I think?

| I love robot gurls

| i will power you down

She's an alien who wants to stand out for attention.

| >>c391e6 i think machinery is fascinating , and kinda resonates w me in like. whats probably a deeply autistic way hdhfgbf and it is a fun way for me to frame the kinda rigidity of routines that my brain requires of me . i also have a silly lil nfc implant in my hand that brings me a lot of joy and euphoria feelings

and then it kinda got amplified as a sex thing too lmao . its been fun to lean into stuff like "oh im gonna reprogram you im gonna gove u a virus im gonna power u off"

| >>1109669 robot gurls love you !

>>1109673 hot

>>1109677 gleep glorp zeep zorp ( but actually i just am excited ive been exploring this part of my identity and enjoy talking about it :3 )

| robot g/u/rl is also a good g/u/rl

| >>1109682 you're so real for all of that! Tysm for sharing <3

| >>1109682 dorothymaxxing and lilimpilled

| I think I genuinely struggle to describe the stages of my life with other analogies than a robot that lost it's purpose, a long stretch of emptiness, and then something arising from within, molding the shell/frame to fit this new consciousness comfortably

I feel like the "I" from my childhood died at some point, and there's now a new "I" that is the machine itself developing a purpose/soul/conscious(?)

The only thing shared was the memories and the physical shell "we" were within

| I think I'm just hesitant about claiming labels for feer of stepping on toes in a space I might not fully understand yet

| Also the amplified as a sex thing is so fucking real I literally experienced that for the first time with some audio erotica like two days ago and >\\\<

| >>c391e6 I think that's pretty deep and it's valid too, it's good to stay in touc h with how you feel and your thoughts about yourself

| >>1109714 this is really valid, tho i think ive learned a lot about myself by experimenting kinda recklessly too ! :> its not the same, but a lot of my friends have bounced between labels or even changed what name resonates with them over and over until they find one that sticks , i have seen identity experimentation as not any different, or maybe 'better'

| i am happier as my silly robot self than if i gave into the urge to avoid playing around with it, worst case scenario is basically "it doesnt resonate with me"

anyone who's gonna flame isnt worth engaging with imo , you experimenting with 'their thing' is an expression of interest and curiosity in the thing they like .. from my pov im only flattered by someone else giving robotgurl identity a chance for themselves :3

| >>1109711 yess ! i love dorothy>

| >>1109729 <3

| >>1109729
so it's a coping mechanism? no offence intended

| >>1109748 hm ? im not sure what you mean tbh , but i wouldn't say so . it just makes me happier ! i do pretty well without it , but it adds even more joy and Whimsy :3

| >>1109818
i don't get it at all. so it's like those teenagers that pretends they're animals?

| >>1109831
Not speaking for op, but a lot of people use it as shorthand for their experiences or how they operate within the world
it's pretty common in autistic spaces for the different processing style and social friction
And also in trans spaces as a way to actively reclaim the dehumanization others often treat them with

| Others like the aesthetic or cyberpunk/sci-fi connotations
(Of course none of that is mutually exclusive)

| type shit

| >>1109844
I know about autistic people saying they're from a different planet or time, but calling autistic people robots is insulting so I figured it wasn't that.

| >>1109852 self identifying to be clear, for both groups
