danger/u/
something cis people don't understand

| True trans women don't want to be trans, they want to be biological women. No one wants to be trans except theyfabs and trend hoppers. Being trans sucks.

It's a medical condition related to the brain forming before the genitals in the womb.

To make it easier to understand for the cis dudes in the crowd, imagine if you were born dickless due to some genetical problem, and trying to live your whole life without a dick. That's how it feels to be trans, your body is deformed.

| Based trans people

| i am a proud transtrender

| I can't tell if you're actually truscum, a self hating tranny, or just familiar with the arguments that the libs never bought fully and lead us here

10/10 good bait would nibble again

| Actually honest and personal opinion time,

While I think most trans people should be recognized by the presence of gender dysphoria, I think people who have no dysphoria and still transition like " I don't mind being this gender but I prefer the other" are valid, and should be allowed to exist and be supported.

Even for those people who just prefer the aesthetics of the other gender and transition because of that, they still should be allowed to exist and are valid as well

| It’s just kind of a vague situation so some people say one thing and some say another.

| >>1105818 good take! On danger/u/!?
I can hardly believe it

| >>1105818 They should. They should also have a label other than 'transgender'
To use transgender as an umbrella term for crossdressers, people with gender dysphoria, people that don't want to adhere to their gender roles/expectations, people that want to modify their body due to aesethics, etc... makes the word lose it's meaning.

A meaningless word cannot be used for any meaningful discussion, it muddles the water and hurts everyone under said word.

| Since the word can mean a hundred different things, some cis people genuinely believe being trans is ‘a choice’, this severely downplays the catastrophic effects of untreated gender dysphoria for a trans person that experiences it.
It also gives birth to things such as ‘TransID’, effectively grouping trans people with transracial, transage, transweight, No-act, MAP, autobiasto, and who knows who else with Trans people that simply suffer from gender dysphoria.

| Cis people have no concept of what dysphoria feels like, for them a femboy and someone about to kill themselves due to unbearable existential pain are basically the same thing.

| Mental illness

This is very interesting. Is it true? I need to look this up so a source would be greatly appreciated.

Hes wrong "Sexual differentiation of the genitals takes place before sexual differentiation of the brain, making it possible that they are not always congruent."
