| I hate the word “deserve” so much. I “deserve” love from my parents yet they don’t love me in the way I want. Who can I talk to to get what I deserve? Ah, no one?
I am fine by the way I just think this is a wrong way to support people like me. I hear it all the time and it NEVER works.
“I deserve to be happy”. Why??? I hate this because you are essentially shifting responsibility for your happiness to the mystical concept of entitlement which is supported by literally nothing.
| I see girls do it all the time. “I deserve a loving husband”. Bitch who gave you that idea? Maybe you need to PUT SOME EFFORT to get a loving husband? Have something in return for that love perhaps?
Instead of “I deserve” it is much better to use “I can”. You CAN be cool if you put some effort to that goal but you don’t fucking deserve to be cool.
| By the way, I am not angry at people who think they deserve something. I was like that as well. I hate people who planted that idea in their heads. People can wait for years for something to change because they think they deserve “better”.
Yet this “better” NEVER comes on its own. So, fuck you op. You might have good intentions but you can’t back up your claims and it hurts more than you realise.
