an old point-and-click/adventure game in the 90's. You were a time traveller going through different periods, but due to graphic constraints you only saw a few different static images, and no people were ever present. The music on the space station and lack of any other characters was surprisingly creepy, full of tension for an interstitial space. Then you went to the Aztecs and usually got sacrificed, but it was better than waiting on the station with the creeping dread it evoked.
