How do I convince my friend to join danger/u/?

I eventually suggested him to join saying that
"danger/u/ is anonymous so you can share your personal life concerns and talk to nice people there
It's a small friendly community of g/u/rls"
But he replied with "more like pedos, rapists and creeps" :(
What's wrong? How to make him join?
