I'm convinced that people are incapable of forming opinions anymore

Too many times now I've seen people on the internet have some opinion that this thing is bad, or that thing is good. I try to inquire if they had any personal experience with said thing, and who could've thought, their opinion is entirely based on some meme they saw on tiktok or shitter.

I think people are definitely capable of forming opinions, but they're not encouraged by their (our) environment in this society to form their own opinions.
There is also the psychosociological problem of "why do you have this or that opinions?", how did they form? How did they arrive at your mind?
The truth might be on how we were raised, our environment, culture, priorities in values and ideas, genes, characters,... A big etc.

Mfw one of my closest friends almost never voiced his opinion but semi-recently started looking down on people for "being wrong" yet he never engage in dialogue, ever. He only snipes vague comments and attitudes about how wrong some people are. The rare times he shares news it's ALWAYS a TikTok link... He also started doubting vaccines...
I never knew he was such a brainlet beneath the surface.

>>1086354 Probably because everyone knows you yourself didn't read the paper you're referencing because if you did you could summarize it and show where it proves you right.
Idiots who post a link to a huge studey and claim "the evidence is in there, trust me" are almost always wrong or lying. Why wast the time reading that crap from some autist online.
