Happy 2020 Season 7 everyone

| Wanna make bets what this years once in a lifetime catastrophy will be

| Oh come on, they've been foreshadowing it for two seasons now: the AI bubble bursts and there's another once-in-a-generation economic crash that the people in power use to strip back even more rights. I'm going to go ahead and guess there'll also be a wildcard global fisheries stock collapse or something as a fun bonus.

not only are the fisheries fucked, the data that supposedly exists on them is falsified

| Fisheries were always stupid. Of course they aren’t going to stick around if you leave them in the ocean for everyone to grab. We should just farm oceans and put big nets in them to wall them off

| Back when I was a local politician 13 years ago I used to go to talks about overfishing and these corpo fucks used to come and lie their asses off and everyone knew it was bullshit. I've been talking about overfishing since then but the 1% still fucks everything up. Remind me again, why do people simp for the parasite class?

I don't think the AI bubble is gonna burst this year though. It's gonna continue to grow all throughout the year and when it bursts it's gonna be even worse.

| Don't worry. It'll get worse.
On the good side we can control our immediate surroundings.

| The AMOC, Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, collapse really only fucks over Europe the most, and WW3 hasn't started yet, despite best efforts. We're definitely guaranteed a once-in-a-lifetime economic crash and recession, those happen every 10 years or so. The accumulation of plastic in humans seems to give a different type of brain damage than that of lead, though both are on the rise. It's hard to choose just one!
