| I can't even imagine the cognitive dissonance a person must face on a regular basis if you're at the bottom of the totem pole in the hierarchy of your own mind. Sounds like pure misery.

| The right-wing mind tends to view hierarchy as the most natural and optimal state and that everyone has an inherent place so they are continuously engaged in fighting to keep their spot on the ladder. At the same time, they know the rung they fight to keep is in no way natural so they're continuously paranoid because by their own worldview, somebody must inevitably knock them down.
