| As someone who knows the science and logic, it really is baffling how we were able to figure it out. But we had "computers" before we knew how to electrify them, such as Mechanical Calculators. We had the logic figured out long ago, it was the science that we needed, and so we did, it's always been a matter of time rather than an if.
