1: don't take dating app convos to texts until you've met the person
2: do not reciprocate naughty pics until you've seen evidence that they are legal.

| I guess in such cases it might be better to stay on the dating app, because there users are required to be over 18 to register, and so if you do send something explicit there's less chance you can be held accountable. It's probably a different story once you move to texts though

| I fell victim to an online dating app (hopefully) scam! Matched with an account that said was 19 years old and we send 3 messages. They ask for phone number and we move to texts, I get naughty pic and being the gentleman I am i send one back. Radio silence, I get a call from a new number and they claim to be the dad and that the person I was texting is 13 (HUGE YIKES) he then starts telling me I got 2 choices. Police or pay $225 my bs detected is yelling louder than my panic
