Workshop in terms of acting also just means educational class for acting! So we’d essentially learn techniques and skills used for performance! That’s pretty much the basic terms of it!
Think of it like going on a course in specific education in school that you’re learning! (*´∇｀*)

| I got my glasses! the frames I got online aren't perfect, but it's amazing to be able to see the horizon again! my eyes hurt a little from focusing so far away cause I haven't done it in so long lol. here's hoping they help with my headaches after sitting at the computer for too long lol

I was helping out organizing books at a local activist space and fell off fast because it ate up the two days a week I had off. I worry committing to a stage play would go someway similar to that.

I hope you can try a small commitment g/u/rl. Sometimes it’s hard to make a lot of time at once but enrichment other than just internet I think can be really good, even if you’re only able to do an hour a week so long as you’re really focused during that hour and it’s what you need

>>1046881 Aww, that is a completely understandable worry! Stage play like these are defiantly time commitment so you'd have to take portion of your time of it! But not all hope is lost! Sometimes there are needs of just extras and really small roles that anyone can fill, if you end up finding that spot, it could be a good way to just dive into it once without having to worry about time commitment!

| glasses g/u/rl here. I'm doing really well with my adhd meds and self image recently, but I'm very lonely lately. isolating myself was surprisingly enough NOT the right way to deal with my social anxiety. mental health issues got hands

I’ll watch/do y’ instead of feeling overrun. So I’ll try to ask them ‘how are you feeling? Are you ok with me doing y now?’ More.
| I can’t really see myself being less lonely, but it’s better not to think about it and eventually do the fucking therapy with another ‘normie’ who ‘knows better than stupid me.’ I feel like socially adjusted people are just ignoring what I care about and people like me, and getting along with them would just be abandoning anything I care about, but literally no one else cares about everything I care about and I’m too scared to live it either.
