Why this happen

| >friend has drug addiction, not pleasant to talk to when he's on drugs
>has stopped doing them for like 3 weeks straight which is nice because I like talking to him
>I comment that it's really cool that he has stopped doing drugs and that I enjoy talking to him in this state
>he responds with "yeah haha"
>2 days later
>he starts doing drugs again and is back to being unpleasant

Wtf is his problem

| sorry for the shitty pinktext format I didn't know how to communicate it any other way

| Awww yeah… I’m sorry to hear that g/u/rl

He probably doesn’t fully know either. Maybe he just felt like he couldn’t handle things or needed something more real, or got bored, or sad. It’s bad. I hope he gets better. I guess I should message my drug friend but she only gives me attention when she’s on drugs and no one else will talk to her, which I worry I’m an enabler.

| Addiction is a hell of a bitch. It's your brain literally chemically trapping you into doing more because your body has a dependency on the substance now. That's why it's a very real medical issue and needs medical treatment. Whether it's intervention, and rehab programs, or even pharmaceuticals made for helping with addiction. It's gotta be taken seriously, and he probably wasn't *able* to stop himself. And it's not really just a matter of willpower unfortunately.

| Yeah that sounds right! Medically treat him op! That would be so cute and you can mbe wear a nurse outfit, or even just tell him face to face to please go to the doctor and go with him! Omg that would be so based- and my addiction friend messaged me again too and she’s doing ok but bored. Cuz she missed her greyhound and has to wait 4 hours. I don’t know her irl though and she has no career :< but she’s cool
