| People are sleeping on this show. There's not enough talk about it. It's SO different from the usual Pokemon anime. I'm so happy Ash is GONE.
The story follows three new protagonists. They aren't following the gym formula either, 72 eps in, no badge. It's more adventure-oriented. They've been travelling different regions, they have clear motives, they experience real growth. The bad guys feel actually sinister and mysterious.
