Russia ‘starting to fail’ in Ukraine war. Western countries promise $1.55bn more in military aid to Kyiv.

| Russia is unlikely to succeed in occupying Ukraine as Western nations pledged 1.5bn euros ($1.55bn) more to to help boost the Ukrainian military in its fight against Russia.

Russia’s invasion have faltered and is starting to fail as 26 countries agreed to give more financial and military aid to Ukraine.

Fighting and loss of life is still taking place, but Russia is starting to fail in many areas.

| Their invasion has … constantly been remodified to the extent they are really only focusing in parts of the south and in the east, a long, long way away from their three-day so-called special operation.

The pledges made were all designed to help Ukraine win, to help Ukraine stand up for its sovereignty and indeed to ensure that President Pitler’s ambitions fail in Ukraine, as they rightly should.

| Ukraine said earlier this month that it had received another delivery of high-precision heavy weapons from Germany and the United States.

Moscow, which has accused the West of dragging out the conflict by giving Ukraine more arms, says it is conducting a “special military operation” in Ukraine aimed at safeguarding Russia’s security against NATO expansion.

Ukraine and its allies accuse Russia of launching an imperial-style war of aggression.

| Defence ministers of Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic signalled willingness to expand productions of artillery systems, munitions, and other military equipments to Ukraine.

The United Kingdom, which has already donated advanced weapons systems to Ukraine and given thousands of its troops military training, on Thursday pledged an additional 300 million euros, including multiple-launch rocket systems and precision-guided M31A1 missiles that can hit targets up to 80km away.

| Russia has been 'starting to fail' like three times already. I have no doubt HIMARS will play a positive role on the Ukrainian side, but how much of a difference it makes is something we'll have to see.

finally
a good fucking source
is that so hard?

Yeah, Russia hasn't been doing a good job. Ever.

They all get their info from the same source, brainlet.

Notwithstanding with its warlike image, boosted by massive PR campaign, Russian military have nearly zero experience of fighting conventional wars against other regular armies. They were quite successful in suppressing civilian riots ofc, in Hungary 1956, Czechoslovakia 1968, etc.

| Russians were less successful in suppressing guerrilla movements in Afghanistan and Chechnya. Guerillas didn't much heavy weaponry, didn't have proper air defence. And yet, Russians suffered high casualties and lost the First Chechen War, despite overwhelming material superiority.

| >Guerillas didn't much heavy weaponry, didn't have proper air defence.
Stingers in Afghanistan say "hello". And so did Grouse and Grail in Chechenia.
If you mean artillery, so you should know that they didn't need them. Mobility and stealth was their advantage.
>Russians suffered high casualties and lost the First Chechen War
Russia:
KIA — over 5500
MIA — over 3000
Ichkeria:
KIA and life prisoned — 17391
And this was first war, hard one full of high treasons in Кrеmlin.
