The Federal Reserve just reported that corporate profits are up 25% across the board. So we have the highest inflation in 40 years and the highest corporate profits in 50 years.

my g/u/rl... we've been living in one for the past thirty years.
it's just not nearly as dystopic (or utopic) as fiction portrays, which is fine. fiction portrayed the worst possible versions of the timelines in the hopes that it would convince people to work against it. and maybe, in some small respect, they did succeed in doing that.
