Russian recruit says he got 5 days of training before getting sent to the front in Ukraine, report says

| A Russian army recruit told The Moscow Times he was sent to the frontlines of Russia's invasion of Ukraine after only five days of training.

It backed up multiple reports saying Russian recruits are ill-prepared and poorly equipped.

Five days of training is extremely short compared to Western militaries. Basic combat training in the US Army is ten weeks, after which soldiers then get more, specialized training. Other NATO armies work in similar timeframes.

| In the Moscow Times interview, Ivan said soldiers he was with were unprepared.

"There was a soldier in our company who didn't know how a machine gun works. So I taught that guy how to disassemble and assemble a machine gun. I wouldn't want to be next to him in battle. How can you fight like that?"

Captured Russian soldiers said earlier in the invasion they had not expected to be deployed to a fight, and were not told the truth of why they were deployed.

| Russian army veteran and former Federal Security Service (FSB) officer Igor Girkin recently made comments that the Russian army is losing more people to desertions and KIA than they are able to scrounge up as replacements.

Even with replacements, those they're getting are barely able to fire a rifle. They're given less than a week of training before being sent to the front as cannon fodder.

| I can't imagine how it must feel to be absolutely powerless, living in a powerless country with a powerless leader, just watching everything you've worked for your whole life fall into shit. Well, at least Russians are used to that. "And then, it got worse," is the national motto of Russia, after all.

Expect to see some massive changes in the next 30 days. Sorry, can't say more for now, but you'll see the results.

| Oh, yeah, Girkin a.k.a. Strelkov. Constantly shouting that Russia is losing (although Ukraine has lost a third of the territories). But why does the hero of Novorossiya speak so badly about all this? Because he was removed from business and now he will not receive fame and recognition.

Are you OK?? Girkin's merely stating facts. No more, no less.

| Russians are born soldiers, they don't need trainings.

| russians are born a meat, they don't need trainings

| russians are spawned, they don't need birth

| why u can send so many fake news without being deleted.

Territory losses don't matter. Fighting for territory is dumb. These territories aren't owned by the people anyways. Ukrainians and russians die pointless for their corrupt regimes. Sadly these post-soviet mafia states are also the future for western democracies. That's how things become if no one with political weight opposes the underlying capitalist system itself anymore: Imperialistic oligarchies make people fight each other.
