And here is place with peoples, that reject normality. I was amoung them, before 24 February. Then shit happened, I've seen some blood and explosions, hide in shelters. If you observe this war from the screen - it just dont looking so real. I'm still doubting myself, how this all can be real.

I'm from Ukraine. And for a while - i was in russia. I literally have seen differences with my eyes. Even russian troopers confirm in captured telephone calls, how much things differ from their cities.

>>866504 >You might sincirely think like ukraine did nothing wrong
Our problem - many parties and presidents, which make polarized decisions. Current president - really cares about people and trying to make something good. Before him - everyone just tried to steal all he can, no matter what.

>>866504 >But just know, that EVERYONE did wrong in this conflict -- RU, UA, EU, USA. All dumb fucks couldn't come to an agreement.
For Ukraine, staying alive - already big achievement. For everyone else - decision to stop war, after russia takes another piece of ukarainin land - is not appropriate. Main russian line - they telling everyone, that in Ukraine russian language and schools are forbidden, and that russian people are treating badly. This is utter lies.

>>866504 My first language is russian, and I'm still using it in daily interactions. Ukrainian i know, but a little bit worse. I can use English, as you see, at some level. And I'm studying Japanese now. About russian schools - my younger sister studying in one. In the center of Kyiv, by the way.

No, it's about actual freedom. No one will agree to become slave. Ukraine is second big country in Europe, and clearly have some potential. I think ten years will be enough. If we can get rid of nasty neighbors, of course.

>>866516 I was talking about whole eu, not ukraine in particular. However, it doesn't look like ukraine is willing to get the TRUE independency either -- they want to join eu and nato. What independency is that? If not ukraine's desire to join nato, the war wouldn't have started now.
Now again, Europe doesn't need war with Russia, apart from uk, I guess, who've had querrels with russia long ago. For the rest of eu war is not benefitable, they just follow america's orders.
Post number #866521, ID: 9cc256

About russian language -- main issue is that ppl in Donbass republics get opressed. You personally have been alright with russian language because I guess you live in central/western Ukraine, so no one bothers you. But people in Donbass were opressed because of their will to separate from UA. Life's been different for them all this time, so I guess none of us can see the whole picture. Time will tell.

Yeah, Zelensky was a breath of fresh air and in 2019 everybody thought things would be arranged better. But in the end it didn't matter, as there was no contact so Russia and UA couldn't come to an agreement again.
>Hope they will run out of rockets and shells soon

This is necessary move, when living near some neighbors. Joining this kind of organizations - means no harm.

>>866520 >If not ukraine's desire to join nato, the war wouldn't have started now.
This is russian excuse. Actually, planns to do that born after Yanukovych exile. People don't wanted bound with russia anymore. And russia don't wanted to loose large amount of marketplace and "easy" way to EU through Ukrainian land for pipes, etc (from geographical perspective).
Post number #866533, ID: 301b8d

>>866520 Moreover, russia hated fact, that country which looked almost the same some time ago - started moving further away from russian control. There are much more cases to star this war, actually. If generalize - it can sound like "russia started loosing control over Ukraine".

>>866520 >For the rest of eu war is not benefitable, they just follow america's orders.
If nobody will help against russia digesting Ukraine - it will be USSR reborn. And the next war will be in EU. Poland again, probably, will be first victim. This is why Poland helps so much.

>>866520 >ppl in Donbass republics get opressed
Nobody get opressed. I literally had friends and relatives from eastern Ukraine. East and central Ukraine - mainly using russian. In the west parts - ukrainian is more popular. This is like things was.
Post number #866537, ID: 301b8d
|
>>866520 >But people in Donbass were opressed because of their will to separate from UA.
Ukraine had large problem. Russian TV - worked freely, and many people actually believed in it. "will to separate" appeared only after disguised russian troopers aka "green men" went to cities and captured government. Before that - pro-russian politicians was elected (with help by Yanukovyc), so things went smooth for russia.
Post number #866538, ID: 301b8d

>>866520 Already is present some amount of information about that in english, but thanks to russia - it is not easy to find truth. Time will tell, indeed.
>But in the end it didn't matter, as there was no contact so Russia and UA couldn't come to an agreement again. Pitler hated Zelensky from the begining. He is younger and had no will to became puppet, like Yanukovych. And of course, people of Ukraine not want to trade their lands and people with russia.

This is like it should be. But in fact - they just shelling everywhere and hoping for hit. If some civil building was shoot - they just telling everyone that it was "nazi base". Or telling that "stupid hohols bombing themselves". There are enough footages about.

Honestly: What did you expect? Soviet people didn't want socialism. They wanted shiny new things, luxury, affluence, comfort and convenience so badly, that they forgot and ignored EVERYTHING what communists knew and told them about the capitalist system. Ukrainians and russians got the whole package: Capitalism, Oligarchism, Imperialism, Nationalism and finally war. Capitalism is no guarantee or condition for democracy and peace without being opposed/questioned itself.

Ukraine is a trap and Pitler is a fool who fell for it. I hope his regime will not survive this war. However, also hypocrisy in western countries makes me sick. Westerners act as if they care for high ethical values and the ukrainian people. But in fact they only care for themselves and see other people as a pawn sacrifics for their selfish geopolitical goals.
Post number #866673, ID: 494e50

And regarding the eastern ex-soviet countries: Most of them are autocratic, ultra-conservative, oligarchic shitholes which only are different from russia because they are smaller, have no nuclear bombs and are anti-russian up to a racist level. Orban is the biggest clown in this post-soviet monkey circus. It's a shame that westerners (EU & NATO) still support his regime. The same with poland and turkiye. They are no allies to the "values" that are supposedly defended in ukraine.
