| I was born in China and live in China for about 90% of my life, and got caught by plain clothes police two times so far, of course I know how it works. What doesn't make sense to me is that she didn't even ask those guys to show their badges or question them where the proper police vehicle is.

In order to send people to the police station or anywhere, even plain clothes police have to call in a proper police vehicle to take that person away.
