Feels like Orban is working at turning it into a Russian style gangster state and considering how much he admires Pitler that is concerning.
Even looking at the rise of these far right gangster states in Europe its easy to see Pitler has his fingers in a few of them which makes me wonder if this has been a long game to break up the EU from.the inside.
Well know Putins always hated the EU and wanted it out of the way.

It already is a Russian style gangster state. Hungarians are a backward people who have known nothing but hatred and vengeance since Trianon. They were one of the first states to openly ally with Hitler and one of the last to show any remorse for it, even to the point of victim blaming Ukrainians for the war today.

During communism, Soviet policies (of all things!) succeeded in instilling respect for human life in some segments of the population. In general, this occurred as a result of the implementation of quasi-egalitarian education, as proper education had previously been restricted to the landowning class. What happened to this people? They saw Hungary's hopelessness and fled. Anyone who could did so while the Iron Curtain was still in place.

When Schengen was opened up, the rest of them left. Now we are left with a rump state belonging more closely to 1922 than 2022. Hungary needs to be kicked out of the EU, sanctioned and starved until they can bring themselves to be anything more than power-hungry Gremlin gremlins.
That, my friend, is the deal with Hungary. I hope I was able to answer your question.

>>850578 Hungarian relations with Ukraine is a bit complicated. Ukraine, while diverse, isn't known for treating their minorities exactly the best. Not the worst either, but it's leaning more towards there. Hungarians living in Ukraine aren't exempted from this, and there's a bit of resentment towards Ukraine for that.

I'm Polish and I'm confused by Hungary. >>850578 Especially confused by this. I've learned in school that Hungary was reluctant in regards to helping the Reich and refused invading Poland due to our friendship. It was only then forced to join the Reich like Slovakia and Czechia. Would someone clear them out for me? Nowadays our governments suck in general as they're ruled by Vatican, but what about the past?

>>851202 It does. Not as much overt power as it used to but there's still a lot of catholics, and the Vatican has deep pockets for government bonds.
