1) Ukraine is a buffer between Europe and Russia, meaning that more international attention is put onto these conflicts and their brutalities. 2) Syria is some bumfuck middle-eastern country. Yes the west (and ukrainian goverment) did (and still does) shady and shitty stuff too. I sympathized with russia most of the time, but nothing justifies this recent "special operation". Pitler does now exactly what he (correctly) criticized the west for a long time. And this is AS hypocritical as western politicians. He seeks to restore tsarist imperialism while trying to abolish the revolutionary communist side of russian history.

| It's not like this is the first russian torture champer found in Ukraine. They've been found all over russian occupied parts of eastern ukraine since 2014 and have contained teenagers back then too.

They take parts of truth, decontextualize facts, give them different weight and interpretation and mix them up with made up stuff.
