If anything, I've seen the opposite- Trump opening his mouth to compliment Putin on his invasion of Ukraine, and some alt rightists bitterly hoping Putin would invade under the bizarre impression that it would somehow "stick it" to Biden.

It's a popular argument from pro-US interventionists on tumblr. (These is a whole anti-US intervention movement running on there lots of people using this opportunity to shit on NATO, to shit on the US Army, etc.)
However I've seen this argument isolated to that hellsite only which means; to be frank, that this argument is leftist in-fighting. So it's no surprise why nobody but Western leftists are seeing it (though I'm not of the West).
