Russia almost blowing up the ISS

| You'd think after Chernobyl they'd learn to communicate and stop before anything dangerous can happen, but I guess not.

| Idiot... Lock thread.

| What do you mean? It's happening right now. Russia performed a test of one of their anti satellite missiles, and now there's a cloud of debris 80+km wide, endangering the crew of the ISS, including their own cosmonauts, whom I think have already boarded their escape vehicles. Granted, the space station was planned to be decommissioned, but this level of insubordination between departments is unreal. The military should have defered to or at least talked with Roscosmos or something

| -_-

| Yep, shitsux. This test absolutely stinks of reckless incompetence considering Russia has a significant amount of money invested in ISS, including 2 Russian cosmonauts, and they almost destroyed it all. There's gonna be some pissed of russian oligarches, that's for sure.

Sadly this will lead to significant and dangerous consequenses to all astronauts, cosmonauts and satellites out there.

You're coming off as pretty desperate, just so you know.
