The industrial revolution is making us weaker as a species. The weak, dumb and diseased tend to pass on their genes too easily. Eugenics are a response to that phenomenon

Evolution doesnt even mean one species is better than the other, if you compare moluscs to birds you can see who is more evolved, but in the end both are staying strong and existing in huge numbers, but what you could say is that birds are more complex than moluscs, thats how evolution works.
