| No suprise: Islamists, like the saudis and nationalists/white supremacists like Trump are brothers in mind. Officially they portray themselves as antagonists, but in fact they are pretty much of the same kind.
It's quite ironic that it is the right corner today which complains most about islam and islamism, while it was representants from exactly this right corner who systematically supported islamists all over the world for almost a century. Trump just continues this tradition.

The saudis/hashemites and the ottomans were antagonists, supported by antagonizing european powers (uk and germany). Germany even supported litterally djihadist groups in the ottoman empire agains british colonies, while the brits supported some retarded arab tribes against the ottoman empire (lawrence of arabia) - with success.
