| Seems like it's just an accident during renovation. Only parts of the outside the damaged, most of the structure is intact.
As a side note, I found it hilariously cheeky that BBC ended its coverage with Trump's response that they should use flying water tankers.

And once again boulevard/yellow press "news" become more important than actual news. Why is suddenly everyone so obsessed with this cathedral? Is it the same people that cry all the time about how evil public estate "steals" their money? Suprise: Ancient and medieval monuments are uneconomical and maintaing them relies on tax money. But people prefer governments that lower taxes and spent it for subventioning rich peoples companies.
