danger/u/
Id you're evil at least you're competent, which means you can do stuff, and therefore you're actually kinda good.

| Is this true or just mad ramblings?

| Depends. Is the rumbler cute?

| I did you are evil

Rambling

No, it's an actual quote from Peter Tiel.

| Ewwwww

| I will now support upcoming archeofuturistic world

| Depends on if you have the same goals on something, or how much damage either does.

retared reply to a retarded answer

| Americans are only capable of understanding the world in black and white thinking
you're good (if you're with us) or you're bad (if you're with them)

Trans kids are valid btw and if supporting them is evil then I don't want to be good

| >>1115444
Using absolutism as a way to describe a population seems kinda counterintuitive tbh

| >>1115451 Okay, okay, SOME americans (maybe most)
Happy now?

The point of the thread

Your head

| >>1115444 white and nigger, actually

| When you are evil, you are not required to do evil acts. You can choose to do good ones and still be evil. Therefore, an evildoer has more options and can thereby do more good than a good person.

| Again it depends. For instance rowing away from shark infested waters you want a boat with an evil person not a paralyzed person. Finding buried treasure you want to paralyzed person not the evil person

| >>1115526
being evil or not doesn't even matter in your scenario, you brainlet

| >>1115529
Nah it doesn’t matter in the rowing away together but it matters in the buried treasure because an evil person will murder u and keep it all. Though I guess the best case for buried treasure is an evil incompetent since they will try to murder you, you can kill them in self defense, and then you keep all the treasure lol

| >>1115738
so it has nothing to do with the threads topic. gotcha

| >>1115792
It’s a counter example to the title of the thread. As well as an example for it. It’s showing that ‘it depends’ are you even OP or are you a troll?

| Sure. And war is peace, freedom is slavery and ignorance is strength.

| Sometimes escalating wars actually leads to peace, like the American revolution and then war of 1812 led to the British to stop trying. Ignorance is very rarely strength, but for instance having a bunch of random thoughts in your head unrelated to your task is bad. I think you're being uncharitable OP. my examples clearly showed how being effective but evil is occasionally usefully, though I agree in practice it's best to punish evil people, or realize they aren't evil

idiot strawman attempt

I hate people who are so stupid you have to educate them while talking to them or else they themselves can't participate in the discussion they're pushing. Like this guy.

| 1. Being "good" or "evil" is absolutely independent from qualification, education or intellect.
2. "good" and "evil" are the ends of a spectrum. Nothing and no one is entirely good or evil.
3. What really matters is if society is build in a way that

a)keeps interests balanced
b)allows/encourages all of its members to contribute to it according to their possibilities.
c)grants existential welfare supporting those in need.

Be aware of moralism!
It's a reactionist/conservative trap.

| Any society that causes major violations to one of those points (a, b or c) is determined to collapse. At this point:
R.I.P. USA (R.I.P. Russia, too).
