>>1096825 problem with africa is africans. Societally they haven't reached even medieval stage and literally have no concept of society beyond their village/tribe. They are incompetent and borderline retarded unless educated abroad. This is NOT their fault, this is their environment. There are only two valid ways to deal with africa: 1. Ignore it 2. Remove africans from it Every other compromise will very quickly spiral into sunk cost fallacy on every step.

>>1096826 >Societally they haven't reached even medieval stage and literally have no concept of society beyond their village/tribe. Strong words from someone, who obviously hasn't reached medieval stage himself. You'r understanding/portrayal of "the africans" comes from an era where "enlightened" western cultures fell back into an morally and intelectual darkness peaking in pretty archaic fascistoid nightmares no african country or culture has ever reached yet.

>>1096844 The weirdness of calling africa a "place" is probably already a progress from calling it a "country" which is also pretty common for many bad educated westerners (especially from the US)...

This is not exclusive to africans. Those people also exist in the west. We call them fascists.

>>1096949 So refugee/migrant/academic aren't "real people" to you? Most african societies are capitalist class societies, just as any other society on the world. You have a small educated elite with libtards and concucks and uneducated masses who follow the next best asshole as their leader - just like anywhere else in the world. Yes, they lack of heavy industry because of western interventions during colonialism and cold war.
Post number #1097028, ID: 3feafa

However some africans became insanely rich by trading "their" countries ressources (and they have a lot) with also insanely rich westerners. Especially north africa offers much labour for europe. Do the "real people" benefit from those circumstances? Not much. But the same can be said about the "real people" in other countries. Cold war is over, the shop window to the ussr is closed. Social-economical achievements are rolled back and fascism is also back.

By the way personal experience is restricted to Morocco and Nigeria. Already these two countries are so much different that I find it ridicolous to generalize anything about "africa" (and its people) as a whole. You talk about uneducated and tribalist africans and at the same time judge about the extremly (!) diverse nations and people of an entire continent based on some very specific business experiences.

>>1096951 Chinese-African relations have intensified massively. It turns out that China is a "better" colonial power than the west. Of course they are racist and exploitative too, which goes hand in hand with any kind of colonialism. But many africans are way more positive about china than about the west, since they see a role model for them: A culture colonialized and humiliated by the west emancipated and risen under the iron rule of a dictatorship proclaiming "communism".
Post number #1097031, ID: 3feafa
|
Many westerners are hyper-retarded smugs, who don't understand anymore how the exploitative system, established by their ancestors, works and benefits them. The most ridicolous example are rightards, who are now concerned about "islamism", while they forget how their political predecessors supported islamists all over the world to fight the super evil uber villain of "socialism". In china they luckily couldn't succeed.
