I agree that "liberals" aren't generally leftist, especially when it comes to questions about economical liberty (the liberty of the rich). On the other hand I don't agree that all reformists (such as social democrats) or superstructural liberalism are reactionists. This was a (very stupid) lie of Stalinism.
