In Robin Hood and Andor, the stories are told from the POV of the outgroup, so it's easy to see fighting against the unjust laws as heroic. In real life, the authoritarian simps are part of the ingroup being "protected" by the unjust laws, so they see anyone fighting against those laws as villains.
